100% pure acai does not taste very well. It has to be frozen within 24 hours of it being harvested. The only way to retain the antioxidant effect as well as the vitamins and minerals is to freeze the fruit fast.
Normally acai is sold as a mixed product together with lets say 18% Guarana and 20% banana to hide the original taste. Health has its price in regards to taste, but the mix is great.
We import our Top Acai from Brazil as a frozen product, as this is the only way to use the healthy resources of the Amazon properly.
