The Growing Cost of Skin Care
Wednesday, February 4th, 2009Health and beauty products can be expensive, especially with skin care products. If you’ve been to a spa lately, you are aware of the “add ons” they try and sell you.
Facials can include some weird things like oxygen facials or spreading caviar on your face. So if you’re trying to save money, avoid those upsell products, you don’t really need them and they’re not that effective.
The majority of spas advertise specials or include coupons in various publications. Why not call the front desk and see if they are currently advertising any good deals. The New York Times is reporting that spas are jumping up in less-posh neighborhoods which means lower prices.
Try finding a spa off the beaten path. The newest trend in saving some money on skin care and beauty products is hosting a product party. Some companies will offer you free products if you host a party in your home with your friends.
